Birthday party allergy stickers work when they sit on the cup, plate, or treat bag the child will actually hold — not only on a note in a parent’s pocket. Use a 1.5″ Food Allergy Label on that child’s cup and bag. Use an Allergy Safe Mark only on the snack you brought and verified. TagMyAllergy sheets are water-resistant vinyl; a 4-sticker wheat sheet is $5.99. They are a visual reminder, not a medical device.
Where each sticker goes
| Place | Use this sticker | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Child’s cup or bottle | Food Allergy Label | Parties mix identical cups |
| Treat bag the child takes home | Food Allergy Label | Other adults may hand out candy later |
| Snack you packed and know is safe | Allergy Safe Mark | Staff and hosts can see which item is theirs |
| Cake shared with the whole table | Do not Safe-Mark it | A host cake is not your verified food |
| Someone else’s child | Do not label them | You only mark the items you brought |
Five rules that keep the label useful
- Talk to the host before the party. A sticker is not a substitute for that conversation.
- Send the labeled cup and a labeled safe snack. Do not assume the party menu is safe.
- Keep an EPI Reminder on the medicine kit you brought, not on the cupcake box.
- If you do not know the ingredients, do not put a Safe Mark on it.
- Peel party stickers off rental ware before you leave if the host needs the dishes back clean.
Start with Food Allergy Labels for the cup and bag. Add Safe Marks only for food you packed.
